Headache, Migraine, chronic Pain
Overview
Headaches, back pain, and chronic pain in other parts of the body are common, often stress-related and therefore, frequently not considered as a serious problem. However, if they occur frequently or worsen, it is important to evaluate their cause, specially tumors of the brain or infections must not be overlooked. But even if no cause can be found, it is important to treat pain, as untreated pain can lead to changes in the nerves and brain.
You should always seek medical care when the pain
- Wakes you or your child from sleep
- Worsens or becomes frequent
- Changes your child`s personality
- Follows a head injury
- Leads to persistent vomiting or visual changes
- Is accompanied by fever and neck pain
Migraine usually differs from the “normal headache”. It is a frequent condition in adults, but rare in infancy and childhood. Nevertheless, it is a severe condition, which needs prompt medical care. In young children it is often difficult to establish the diagnosis “Migraine” as they are to young to properly describe the pain. The following symptoms can help to establish the correct diagnosis:
- Pain that worsens with activity and is pulsating
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain in addition to headache
- Extreme sensitivity to light and sound
Why adding Integrative lifestyle coaching?
Integrative Lifestyle coaching supports the innate healing capacities both actively and passively with the Infrared Helmet and EndoLight Band.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Overview
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition that affects millions of children and often continues into adulthood.
Despite its frequency the pathogenesis is still unclear. Genetic factors play a role but cannot be claimed to be the main cause.
Symptoms are difficulty sustaining attention, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior, often accompanied with low self-esteem and poor performance in school.
It can be difficult to diagnose true hyperactivity or inattention, as children in general are very active and have short attention spans.
ADHD can present with
Quiet Inattention (more frequently in girls):
- Fails to pay close attention to details and is easily distracted
- Has trouble staying focused, listening and following instructions
- Avoids tasks that require focused mental effort, loses items, forgets to do chores
Hyperactivity/impulsivity (more frequent in boys):
- Constant in motion, difficulty staying seated, tap hands or feet
- Running around when it`s not appropriate
- Having trouble doing an activity quietly, blurt out answers and interrupt others
How can Integrative Lifestyle Coaching help?
Adding it to Conventional Treatments is a perfect solution. Coaching cannot change the genetics but it can improve ADHD.
Integrative Lifestyle coaching supports the innate healing capacities both actively and passively with the Infrared Helmet and EndoLight Band.
Light Therapy (PhotoBioMudolation) with these home use devices can
- Boost the brain. It enhances the activity of neuronal cells and neuronal networks, which are malfunctioning in ADHD and it corrects the 6 pathways of neurotransmitters which are also altered in ADHD.
- Consider the presence of a disease in Functional Nutrition. In ADHD patients iron, zinc, copper, magnesium and omega 3-fatty acids can be deficient and have to be added to the nutrition. Food containing to much sugar, artificial food colorants and preservatives should also be avoided as they worsen ADHD symptoms.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Overview
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a condition related to brain development that impacts how a person perceives and socializes with others. This causes problems in social interaction and communication. Children and adult with ASD may also show repetitive patterns of behavior.
There is no cure for this disorder, however intensive, early treatments can have a very positive impact on the patients’ lives.
Autism Spectrum Disorder needs a Multidisciplinary Approach.
How can Integrative Lifestyle Coaching help?
It cannot improve developmental conditions but the Infrared Helmet and EndoLight Band can improve brain functions by
- Enhancing the activity of neuronal cells and networks
- Forming new neurons, neurotransmitters and new pathways
- Reducing anxiety and other negative emotions resulting from his or her sensitivity to touch, sound or light and the difficulties in social skills
Neuromuscular Disorders
Overview
Neuromuscular Disorders affect the function of muscles due to problems with the nerves and muscles in the body.
There exist many different types of disorders and most of them are progressive.
Early diagnosis and treatment can slow down the progression, but most of these conditions cannot be cured.
The main symptoms are
- Progressive muscle weakness
- Reduced muscle-coordination
- Numbness in body parts
Why is Integrative Lifestyle Coaching such an important approach in Neuromuscular Disorders?
Integrative Coaching, however, can add more to relief the threatening symptoms.
PhotoBioModulation with the Infrared Helmet and EndoLight Band
- Activates muscle tissue repair
- Stimulates the body that new blood vessels in muscle tissues are developed
- Enhances the activity of neuronal cells
- Forms new neuronal networks and pathways in the nervous system
- Reduces anxiety, which children develop when they realize their progressive condition
Dementia, Alzheimer's
Overview
Dementia is a term used to describe a group of symptoms affecting memory, thinking and social abilities. In people who have dementia, the symptoms interfere with their daily lives. Dementia isn’t one specific disease. Several diseases can cause dementia.
Dementia generally involves memory loss. It’s often one of the early symptoms of the condition. But having memory loss alone doesn’t mean you have dementia. Memory loss can have different causes.
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia in older adults.
While there is no known cure for Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, recent research has suggested that PhotoBioModulation, also known as Light Therapy may have the potential to slow down or even reverse the progression of Alzheimer’s.
How can Integrative Health Planning and Lifestyle Coaching help individuals with Dementia or Alzheimer`s?
It proves effective as an intervention for individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Nevertheless, the loss of abilities and sense of self presents challenges to cognitive training. Research indicates that PhotoBioModulation with the Infrared Helmet can substantially enhance cognitive performance and emotional regulation.
It can improve brain function by increasing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and promoting the growth of new neurons and blood vessels. Below are some of the researched benefits of the Infrared Helmet:
• Reduction of amyloid-beta protein levels in the brain, as demonstrated in several studies published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease in 2020 and 2018.
• Stimulation of autophagy, which can help to clear up amyloid-beta proteins.
• Neuroprotective effects that can protect neurons from damage.
• Anti-inflammatory effects reduce inflammation in the brain.
Immune System Disorders
Primary immunodeficiency disorders are congenital disorders. In these disorders the immune system is weak, allowing infections and other health problems to occur more easily.
Children that are born with these disorders are missing a properly working immune system. So far, 300 different forms of primary immunodeficiency disorders are identified.
Research is ongoing to improve treatments that can boost the immune system.
Signs and symptoms differ depending on the type of primary immune deficiency disorder:
They can include
- Frequent and recurrent infections
- Digestive problems and delayed growth and development
- Autoimmune disorders
If symptoms are overlooked, severe complications can occur such as damage to organs, increased risk of cancer and death from serious infections.
Secondary immunodeficiency disorders are acquired weaknesses of the immune system.
Children and adults with serious, chronic and life-limiting diseases almost always suffer from a weakened immune system, either through the disease itself or through severe medications such as chemotherapy.
Conventional treatments are limited both in primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders. They are restricted to preventing and treating infections with medications such as antibiotics or immunoglobulin therapy.
What can Integrative Lifestyle Coaching offer?
With its 5 pillars, It is number one in boosting a weakened immune system.
- The EndoLight Band irradiates the blood stream and regenerates all cells of the immune system and all body cells and creates new energy in all organs and the brain

Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Asthma
Overview
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is an inherited disorder that causes severe damage of the lungs, digestive system and other organs in the body.
It affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat and digestive juices. These secreted fluids are normally thin and slippery. But in children with CF a defective gene causes the secretions to become sticky and thick. They plug up tubes and ducts, especially in the lungs and pancreas.
Because of newborn screening, CF can be diagnosed already within the first months of life.
The earlier CF is diagnosed, the better is the outcome.
CF can present with the following symptoms:
- A persistent cough that produces thick mucus
- Repeated lung infections
- Recurrent stuffy nose and sinusitis
- Foul-smelling, greasy stools or constipation
- Intestinal blockage
- Poor weight gain and growth
However, even with early diagnosis and optimal treatments CF is still a life-limiting disease.
Research shows that the main problems for lung damage are Immunological dysfunctions.
Asthma is also an inherited disorder. However, the genes responsible for inheriting the disease remain still unidentified. Research shows that it is most likely transmitted by multiple genes leading to asthma expression being multifaceted.
In Asthma your airways narrow and swell and may produce extra mucus. This can make breathing difficult and trigger coughing, a whistling sound (wheezing) when you breathe out and shortness of breath.
For some people, asthma is a minor nuisance. For others, it can be a major problem that interferes with daily activities and may lead to a life-threatening asthma attack.
Asthma can’t be cured, but its symptoms can be controlled. Because asthma often changes over time, it’s important that you work with your doctor to track your signs and symptoms and adjust your treatment as needed.
Asthma symptoms can flare up through certain triggers and also n stressful situations.

Palliative Care
What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care is care meant to improve the quality of life of patients who have a serious or life-threatening disease. It can be given with or without curative care.
Palliative care is an approach to care that addresses the person as a whole, not just their disease. The goal is to prevent or treat, as early as possible, the symptoms and side effects of the disease and its treatment, in addition to any related psychological, social, and spiritual problems. Patients may receive palliative care in the hospital, an outpatient clinic, a long-term care facility, or at home under the direction of a licensed health care provider. Anyone can receive palliative care regardless of their age or stage of disease.
Many of the same methods that are used to treat a severe disease like cancer, such as medicines and certain treatments, can also be used for palliative therapy to help a patient feel more comfortable. For example, doctors may give chemotherapy or radiation therapy to slow the growth of a tumor that is causing pain. Or surgery may be performed to remove a mass that is pressing on certain nerves and causing pain.
Integrative Life Coaching can be very beneficial in helping the Patient and the Whole Family to master all painful and stressful Situations.
What issues are addressed in Palliative Care?
The physical and emotional effects of a serious disease such as cancer and its treatment may be very different from person to person. Palliative care can address a broad range of issues, integrating an individual’s specific needs into care. A palliative care specialist will take the following issues into account for each patient:
• Physical. Common physical symptoms that can be addressed include pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, and insomnia.
• Emotional and coping. Palliative care specialists can provide resources to help patients and families deal with the emotions that come with the diagnosis of a life-limiting disease. Depression, anxiety, and fear are only a few of the concerns that can be addressed through palliative care.
• Spiritual. With a life-limiting disease, patients and families often look more deeply for meaning in their lives. Some find the disease brings them closer to their faith or spiritual beliefs, whereas others struggle to understand why it happened to them. An expert in palliative care can help people explore their beliefs and values so that they can find a sense of peace or reach a point of acceptance that is appropriate for their situation.
• Caregiver needs. Family members and friends are an important part of cancer care. Like the patient, they have changing needs. It’s common for many caregivers to become overwhelmed by the extra responsibilities placed upon them. Many find it hard to care for their loved one who is sick while trying to handle other obligations, such as work, household duties, and taking care of their family. Uncertainty about how to help their loved one with medical situations, inadequate social support, and emotions such as worry and fear can also add to caregiver stress.
These challenges can compromise caregivers’ own health. Palliative care specialists can help families and friends cope and give them the support they need.
PhotoBioModulation with the Infrared Helmet and EndoLight Band can effectively relief Physical Symptoms and ease the Mind.
Well-Being
Overview
Well-being is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity. It includes having good mental health, high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning or purpose, and the ability to manage stress. More generally, well-being is just feeling well.
Well-being is something sought by just about everyone because it includes so many positive things — feeling happy, healthy, socially connected, and purposeful.
Where Does Well-Being Come From?
Well-being emerges from your thoughts, actions, and experiences — most of which you have control over. For example, when we think positively, we tend to have greater emotional well-being. When we pursue meaningful relationships, we tend to have better social well-being. And when we lose our job — or just hate it — we tend to have lower workplace well-being. These examples start to reveal how broad well-being is.
5 Major Types of Well-Being
• Emotional Well-Being – The ability to practice stress management and generate the emotions that lead to good feelings
• Physical Well-Being – The ability to improve the functioning of your body through a healthy lifestyle
• Social Well-Being – The ability to communicate and develop meaningful relationships with others
• Workplace Well-Being – The ability to pursue your interests and values in order to gain meaning and enrichment professionally
• Societal Well-Being– The ability to actively participate in a thriving community, culture, and environment.
Unfortunately, well-being appears to be in decline, and increasing your well-being can be tough without knowing what to do and how to do it.
Integrative Lifestyle Coaching helps You growing Your Well-being lifelong, especially when You have recently undergone a Stressful Event like a Serious Disease
It not only helps actively building well-being skills and changing the world around you, but also passively with the unique home-use PhotoBioModulation devices, The Infrared Helmet and EndoLight Band.

Sleep, Depression, Anxiety
Overview
Sleep problems in Children and adolescents
Many children and adolescents have sleep problems. However, sleep plays a crucial role in the development of young minds. In addition to having a direct effect on happiness, research shows that sleep impacts alertness and attention, cognitive performance, mood, resiliency, vocabulary acquisition, and learning and memory. In toddlers napping appears to be necessary for memory consolidation, executive attention, and motor skill development. Sleep also has important effects on growth, especially in early infancy.
Not adequate sleep in early childhood is linked to problems with the immune system and mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression.
Research also suggests that sleep plays an important role in the development, progression, and maintainance of mood disorders.
Sleep disorders can be classified in
- Insomnia, difficulty maintaining or returning to sleep after an early morning awakening or presenting as bedtime resistance and prolonged night-time awakenings.
- Delayed Sleep Phase, presenting with difficulties falling and staying asleep
Research suggests that sleep plays an important role in the development, progression, and maintainance of mood disorders. Recent literature also indicates that insomnia likely precedes and predicts depressive episodes. School-age childhood insomnia can predict adolescent and adult depression.
These facts indicate that there is an urgent need to restore adequate sleep at all ages.
Sleep problems and sleep disorders in adults
Sleep is essential to good health. It’s one of the body’s basic needs.
A sleep disorder can affect your overall health, safety and quality of life. Sleep deprivation can affect your ability to drive safely and increase your risk of other health problems.
Some of the signs and symptoms of sleep disorders include excessive daytime sleepiness, irregular breathing or increased movement during sleep. Other signs and symptoms include an irregular sleep and wake cycle and difficulty falling asleep.
There are many different types of sleep disorders. They’re often grouped into categories that explain why they happen or how they affect you. Sleep disorders can also be grouped according to behaviors, problems with your natural sleep-wake.
